Lisbon’s reputation as one of Europe’s
top culture capitals is due largely to an abundance
of museums situated all around the city.
This section provides a full listing of all the
city’s museums, including details about how
to get there, opening hours and the main points
of interest.
It should be noted that most of Lisbon’s museums
are closed on Mondays and public holidays and that
a small entrance is normally charged.
Visitors should also expect to pay an additional
fee for entrance to any temporary exhibitions taking
place on the premises.
